On 18 July, the #WinningTeams at Thaba Moshate in Burgersfort embarked on their Mandela Day project for 2024. Mandela Day is the annual global celebration that takes place on 18 July to honour the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela. This day is a call to action for all individuals, communities, and organisations to take time to reflect on Mandela's values and principles and to make a positive impact in their own communities, for a minimum of 67 minutes.

As always, the #WinningTeam were out in force to help make a difference in their communities. Thaba Moshate donated food items and kids goodies to the Push and Reach Movement, located in Riba Cross, Burgersfort. This organization provides voluntary after-school care to children to give them a helping hand.
