As part of its commitment to uplifting the local community Thaba Moshate Hotel Casino and Convention Resort, Peermont’s new property in Burgersfort is helping to improve Mmasethankga Crèche, a facility for pre-schoolers situated near the resort. Started by Shirinda Shibundela Roza in a shack in 2001, the crèche moved to a two-classroom building (structure on the right) in 2010. With the help of Thaba Moshate, in conjunction with Breet Construction, Mmasethankga is currently being expanded with two new classrooms, bathroom facilities and a kitchen being added. Here Thaba Moshate’s General Manager, Clifford Ngakane is pictured with Roza and two of the learners, Kgalalelo Mashego and Kgopotso Thokwane in front of the buildings during a visit to see how the expansions are progressing on Thursday morning, April 23.
